This world-class addition to Louisville’s parks system that includes four major parks linked by a park drive, a first-rate urban trail system, and a remarkable water trail, all tracing Floyds Fork, a classic Kentucky stream. This public/private project is unique in the region and unlike anything currently in development across the country—truly a city-shaping model.

Join us for The Parklands Walk & Run on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2020, as we gather together to raise funds for the annual operations and maintenance of this 4,000-acre, donor-supported park system! 

The Parklands Walk & Run will support The Parklands Fund, the annual fund campaign that helps to support maintenance and operations in The Parklands. The Parklands is open 365 days a year, from dawn to dusk, with zero entry fee. It includes over 50 miles of trails for hiking and biking, a mountain bike park, a 19-mile, ADA-certified, multi-use paved trail that spans the length of the park and 20 miles of paddling trail. Thanks to community support, a safe, clean, fun and beautiful experience is provided for the millions of Parklands visitors every year!
